We are a licensed provider of Shorthand Reporter Continuing Education in the State of Illinois through the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.  Please click here for a copy of our certificate. 


Employees who have confirmed attendance at all 4 live sessions will receive a paid leave day in their WebHR account to use before March 13, 2022. Employees who cannot attend live will be able to watch video replays of most sessions. No paid leave day will be awarded video playbacks, but you may submit for continuing education hours through your WebHR account.

Tammy Bumgarner provides updates and policy information relevant to Court Reporting Services Employees.  Questions may be submitted ahead of time through the Q&A webpage.


9:00am Using ShareFile's Citrix App/File Backups

Cheryl Barone, Administrator in the 18th Judicial Circuit, walks employees through installing and using the Citrix app to easily backup files from your laptop.

10:30am - Financial Planning 

Rik Stone from Gordon & Associates in Springfield, is an expert on State Employee financial planning options. No better time than now to start or refine your retirement plans.

Seminar registrants will attend the concurrent session they did not attend during the 9 a.m. session.   

2:30pm - Case Catalyst or Eclipse Software

Pam Szczecinski(Case Catalyst) and Julie Samford (Eclipse) will each present a software training session with tips and tricks to best utilize the software.

2:30pm - Sexual Harassment Training for CRS Employees

If you do not register for one of the two software trainers who are available, you may fulfill the full day's attendance for the paid leave day by completing the annual sexual harassment training for 2021 in a pre-recorded training session with a completion quiz at the end.  

Application for CE hours has been made to the Department of Professional Regulation. The seminar will be awarded six hours of continuing education credit pursuant to the CSR license renewal requirements established by the Department. All attendees will be responsible to apply for their own NCRA credit. CRS employees are eligible for reimbursement.
