Court Reporting Services serves as the administrative body responsible for establishing and overseeing policies and procedures related to court reporting across the Illinois trial courts, under the leadership of the Chief Circuit Judges. Our mission is to ensure the creation and preservation of an accurate and reliable record of proceedings statewide. In addition to providing courtroom coverage through Official Court Reporters, we actively support and promote the court reporting profession through educational initiatives. This includes offering continuing education for licensed court reporters and providing resources and opportunities for individuals interested in pursuing a career in court reporting.
